Michigan City-based Horizon Bank appointed Kevin Gould vice president, branch manager of the La Porte branch.
Gould joins Horizon Bank with 16 years of experience in La Porte as a branch manager and business banker. In his new role, he will focus on keeping operations running smoothly, guiding the team and mentoring new Horizon Bank advisors.
Gould is an alumnus of Indiana University South Bend.
Gould is a board member of the United Way of La Porte County. He previously served on the boards of Dunebrook, Parents & Friends and Leadership La Porte County.
As an American Red Cross volunteer, Gould served on a Disaster Action Team. He helped provide shelter and clothing to individuals affected by house fires and other natural disasters. Gould participated in a national deployment to Louisiana, offering support to those impacted by Hurricane Isaac in 2012.
Horizon Bancorp is the holding company for Horizon Bank. Horizon Bank serves customers in Indiana and Michigan. The bank was founded in 1873.
