Merrillville-based Centier Bank recently announced the promotion of Katlin Gaffron to assistant vice president of the bank.
Gaffron has served as the branch manager of the bank’s Granger location since 2017. She manages branch sales and operations, business development, associate development and warehouse lending document preparation. Gaffron is a licensed banker in the Michiana region.
Gaffron earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Northern Illinois University. She is the secretary of the Granger Sunrise Rotary Club and the education coordinator for the Elite Innovators Business Networking International Group.
“I have a passion for community banking, and I bring a knack for leadership and mentoring,” Gaffron said in a press release. “I genuinely enjoy working at Centier because of the supportive and fun culture that is cultivated every day at the bank.”
Centier Bank’s founder Henry Schrage immigrated to Whiting in the mid-1800s. Schrage founded Centier Bank in 1895. The bank currently has over 60 offices in 11 counties across Indiana.
