On July 1, Merrillville-based Centier Bank will open its second branch in Indianapolis this year.

The bank also has plans to open two more locations in the central Indiana area next year.

“Opening another branch in Indianapolis reaffirms Centier Bank’s dedication to continual growth and impact in the Indianapolis community,” said Mike Schrage, Centier Bank’s chief executive officer and chairman of the board, in a press release. “We are eager to offer existing and new clients an inviting and convenient space to engage with our team and bank with ease.”

The branch at 1313 W. 86th St. is about 6,000 square feet. It includes two drive-through lanes, a drive-up ATM, a coffee bar and a coin machine.

Leading the branch will be Carin Sassatelli as branch manager, Cori Woerner as assistant manager, Loren Simms as senior universal banker, and Cameron Flores as universal banker.

“We are grateful for the connections fostered between our staff and the community. These relationships enable us to provide top-tier support while engaging the communities where our associates live and work,” said Troy Kafka, Centier Bank’s greater Indianapolis market president. “Through exceptional banking services and unparalleled customer care, our goal is to invest in and empower our clients so we can grow together.”

Centier Bank first entered the Indianapolis-area market in 2011 when it opened a commercial loan production office in Carmel. Since then, it opened banking centers in Carmel, downtown Indianapolis, Westfield, Fishers, Whitestown and Zionsville.

Centier Bank has been family owned since 1895. It has more than 60 offices in 35 communities and more than 1,000 employees.
