Black Chamber of Commerce to host convention

The Black Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Indiana invites local small business owners and entrepreneurs to a free convention Aug. 15.

The chamber is partnering with IU Northwest Business Academy and the U.S. Small Business Administration to present the 2025 Small Business Convention.

The event will focus on economic growth, AI Integration for small businesses and government contract procurement opportunities. Attendees will hear from industry leaders, agency representatives and tech innovators. They will be able to explore tools and resources.

The convention is designed to empower, educate and elevate local entrepreneurs and innovators across Northwest Indiana. Organizers aim to foster generational wealth, expand access to capital and position the Region’s businesses for smart growth.

The 2025 Small Business Convention will take place 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 15, at Indiana University Northwest's Savannah Center in Gary. Learn more here.
