VALPARAISO – Two representatives of the Northwest Indiana Workforce Board took part in the National Association of Workforce Boards annual conference recently in Washington, D.C.

Bob Schaefer, president of Corporate Dynamics in LaPorte County and NWIWB member and past chairman, was a panelist in a session, “Advocacy on the Hill and at Home.” Linda Woloshansky, president of the Center for Workforce Innovations in Valparaiso, addressed the lack of work readiness among high schoolers in “Bridging the Skills Gap and Engaging Employers.
