Charlie’s Coney Island opening

Paige & Charlie’s Coney Island is hosting a community celebration Oct. 4, at its newly reopened location on 25th and Broadway in Gary.

Paige & Charlie’s Coney Island is a collaboration between Tiffany Davis, granddaughter of Charlie Larkin, and Pastor Dexter Harris and his wife, Paige Harris. The partnership honors the restaurant’s history while ushering in a new chapter for the family business.

“This opportunity to reopen and reimagine our restaurant, while still honoring the legacy of our grandfather and family, is truly amazing,” Davis said in a press release.

The Harrises echoed that sentiment.

“We are deeply grateful and excited that Tiffany and the Larkin family have entrusted us to partner with them in upholding the Coney Island name and bringing something new to the community,” they said.

Davis said she is thrilled to welcome the community back to a place that holds so many memories.

“Paige and Charlie’s is about celebrating the rich history of Charlie’s Coney Island while serving the same classic flavors our guests have loved for years,” Davis said.
