Town of Merrillville extends job fair business registration deadline

The Town of Merrillville is still looking for businesses to register as vendors for its July 30 job fair.

Employers can sign up through July 15 to secure a spot at the job fair from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 30 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway in Merrillville.

“Our job fair attracts hundreds of job seekers each year, and this is a great opportunity to showcase your business, connect with local talent and grow your team,” said Linda Rosas, administrative manager for the town of Merrillville, in a press release.

The job fair also will include raffles, swag and prizes.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the workforce or looking for a change in employment, our job fair has
something for everyone,” Rosas said.
