Paladin, a nonprofit serving adults with disabilities, children and seniors, hosted a ribbon cutting Dec. 5 for its new Success Hub in Michigan City.
U.S. Rep. Frank Mrvan joined Paladin to celebrate the new adult learning and community space. The event featured remarks from Mrvan, Paladin leadership and local partners.
“The Success Hub is more than a building, it’s a promise to our participants and our community that everyone deserves a place to thrive,” said Steve Hobby, president and CEO of Paladin, in a press release.
The Success Hub is part of the conversion of a 24,000-square-foot facility, which previously was an empty warehouse.
“I thank all the dedicated leaders and workers of Paladin for their successful initiatives to create a welcoming space for people of all abilities to learn and grow,” Mrvan sasid. “I look forward to continuing to build on these exemplary services that teach essential life skills and empower people to thrive in Northwest Indiana.”
The Success Hub was made possible by $1.5 million federal funds. The space will empower individuals of all abilities to learn, connect and thrive. The renovations began in 2023.
Paladin advocates for children, persons with disabilities, seniors and their families. The organization works to ensure individuals have the supports and opportunities they need to learn, grow and enjoy a meaningful life.
