Indiana University Northwest's Dorothy Frink will join leaders from colleges and universities around the country for the 2023 Emerging Leaders Program.

The interim vice chancellor of enrollment management and student affairs was selected to participate in the American Association of State Colleges and Universities’ six-month program. Thirty-four higher education leaders will attend the program starting this month in Washington, D.C.

“I look forward to gaining additional best practice strategies and executive-level leadership skills within an accomplished learning community of academic and administrative leaders,” said Frink in a press release.

Topics covered in this year's cohort include academic affairs, alumni relations, change leadership, project management and national education trends.

Participants also will be required to manage an on-campus project with the help of campus leadership. Frink said her project will reflect her “passion for student enrollment management.”

Frink joined IUN in 2015 as the director of admissions and was promoted in 2020 to associate vice chancellor of enrollment management. She earned her doctorate in education administration from Indiana State University.
