NWI Forum, NIPSCO host tour

The Northwest Indiana Forum and NIPSCO recently hosted a Familiarization Tour, welcoming seven site selectors from across the country to the Region.

The tour highlighted area assets, including development sites, workforce strengths and quality-of-life amenities. Attendees received guided tours of strategic business locations, participated in discussions with local leaders and enjoyed curated experiences that showcased the Region’s resources.

“This tour is an important part of our ongoing efforts to attract investment and raise awareness of the incredible potential here,” said Heather Ennis, NWI Forum president and CEO, in a press release. “One of our critical success factors is promoting Northwest Indiana as the place to do business.”

Participants left with insights and a stronger understanding of the local business climate, available incentives and the collaborative spirit that defines the 7-county region.

The Northwest Indiana Forum is a regional economic development organization dedicated to business development, capital investment and strategic economic growth in harmony with the environment. The Forum has over 160 investor organizations. The organization markets Northwest Indiana as the place to do business and drives regional initiatives.
