NWIBRT, CAF host event

The NWI Business RoundTable and Construction Advancement Foundation are hosting the 2025 Business & Economic Outlook conference Oct. 31.

The free event will provide insights on trends influencing business and industry. The program will feature presentations from leaders in various business sectors and government agencies. It will conclude with a detailed economic picture of Northwest Indiana and United States.

Speakers include:

  • Mayor Eddie Melton, City of Gary
  • Sherri Ziller, Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority president and CEO
  • Audra Peterson, Porter County Career and Technical Education executive director
  • Tony Sindone, Indiana University Northwest director of the Center for Economic Education and Research
  • Tom Vander Woude, Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission director of transportation
  • Emily Easton, Chicago Quantum Exchange director of education
  • Steve Skalka, Harbour Trust & Investment Management Company chief fiduciary officer

The 2025 Business & Economic Outlook program will take place 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 31, at Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso. Learn more here.
