Black Chamber to host economic mixer

The Black Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Indiana is hosting an economic development fundraiser March 21.

Aaryn Eady, the minority business initiative director at the Indiana Economic Development Corp., will be on hand to discuss a $29 million small business funding initiative.

The event's goal is to engage businesses, industry professionals and community leaders in a discussion about economic growth in the Region.

Time will also be available for networking and entertainment by Will Miller & the Jazz Gang.

The mixer will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. March 21 at the Hammond Marina, 701 Casino Center Drive. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.
