NW-ISBDC seeks 2025 E-Day nominations

The Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center is seeking nominations for the 34th Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards.

“The E-Day awards continue to be a significant and special way to showcase those around us truly creating an impact,” said NW-ISBDC Regional Director Lorri Feldt in a press release. “We are consistently awed by the entrepreneurs and advocates who are nominated each year and their stories of grit, growth and determination.”

Nominations are needed in several categories, including small business person of the year, entrepreneurial success, small business exporter, young entrepreneur, underserved small business, family-owned business, emerging small business, small business advocate and advocate for youth entrepreneurship.

Members of the public are encouraged to make nominations by Aug. 27. The 2025 form can be accessed here.

Businesses must be located in the seven-county area of Northwest Indiana: Lake, Porter, La Porte, Starke, Jasper, Pulaski and Newton counties. Businesses must have a three-year record of growth in sales or employees and be on a growth trajectory.

The 2025 awards luncheon is scheduled for Nov. 13 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville. Tickets will be available soon.
