INDIANAPOLIS – WorkOne has presented Achievement Awards to Hearthside Food Solutions in Michigan City and to Gary Brooks of East Chicago.
Hearthside was honored for its use of WorkOne’s on-the-job training program. Hearthside is an independent contract baker for major food companies and hired 10 people last year through the program.
Brooks was a train engineer for 18 years but decided to return to the workforce and used WorkOne to help him in his search. Through WorkOne Brooks obtained his commercial driver’s license and is now working for Falcon Transport.
