Women’s Fair 2014

MICHIGAN CITY – Those attending Women’s Fair this year should wear comfortable shoes and clothing, because the county’s largest health event is getting a lot more interactive.

Women’s Fair, from noon – 6 p.m., Oct. 21 at Blue Chip Stardust Event Center in Michigan City, promises highly interactive exhibits and health information pods that will provide an exceptionally valuable and personalized experience for all who attend.

Attendees can participate in free screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, hearing loss, oral cancer and breast cancer (clinical breast exams). Live cooking demonstrations featuring culinary specialist Chef Mark Anthony throughout the day will include audience participation and healthy recipe sampling. Keynote speakers will provide detailed, down-to-earth, information about the topics that women have been asking to hear about for years at Women’s Fair.
