HAMMOND – An exhibit of paintings, drawing, photographs and sculptures from Illiana Artists will be on display at the Indiana Welcome Center from Aug. 17 to Sept. 17.
The work will be displayed in the W.F. Wellman Exhibit Hall under the theme, “Tourism in Northwest Indiana.”
Members of the Illiana Artists Association are shown demos on different techniques and experience the business side of the arts. The organization provides artists an opportunity to promote themselves as artists and to network with artists in the area.
A reception will be from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 12. The exhibit will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. until Labor Day and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. afterwards.
