HAMMOND – The legendary Jackson 5, the Nobel Laureates, and the Medal of Honor recipients from Northwest Indiana will be inducted on the South Shore Wall of Legends starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the South Shore Convention & Visitors Authority in Hammond.
The Wall of LEGENDS is sponsored by the Whiting Business Unit of BP.
“We will be inducting people from Northwest Indiana who have changed the world, and reflect the values of ‘Exploration and Courage, and/or Creativity and Innovation,’” said John Davies, volunteer coordinate of the Wall of Legends Project.
A consultant on the project is Stephen G. McShane, Calumet Regional Archives at Indiana University Northwest.
