PORTAGE – Walgreen’s has announced that it will purchase the prescription files and inventory from the soon-to-be close Kmart pharmacies across the country, including stores in Portage and St. John.

Once the transfer is complete, anyone who has had a prescription filled at Kmart in the past two years will receive a letter from Walgreen’s announcing the change.
