SOUTH BEND — Thom Villing, president of Villing & Company Marketing Communications, will be making a presentation on marketing at the 2013 St. Vincent de Paul Society National Assembly September 11 – 14, in Madison, Wis.
One of the largest charitable organizations in the world, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international, nonprofit, Catholic lay organization of more than 770,000 men and women who voluntarily join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to- person service to the needy and suffering in 149 countries on five continents.
Entitled “A Brand New Ballgame: Integrated Marketing Communications & Branding Strategies”, Villing’s presentation will provide insights to Society volunteers from around the country on ways they can more effectively communicate the benefits of their organization to donors, volunteers, beneficiaries and other stakeholders. The presentation is part of a rebranding initiative being undertaken by the national organization through one of its strategic task forces. Villing serves on the task force and helped architect the national rebranding plan.
