Valparaiso University earned a spot on the Military Times’ 2024 Best for Vets: Colleges list.

The recognition is based on the assistance and services the university offers to support  military veterans.

The Valpo Office of Veterans Programs and Services helps active duty, reserve, military personnel, veterans and dependents successfully graduate from college. Initiatives to help facilitate this goal include financial aid, additional faculty and staff resources and mental and physical health resources.

This year’s Military Times list was compiled through a combination of survey results and public data from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs.

Valparaiso University serves 3,000 students and has 250 faculty members. The university offers more than 70 undergraduate programs through the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Nursing and Health Professions and Christ College — The Honors College. Valparaiso University also has more than 20 degree and certificate programs in its graduate school and continuing education.
