USF Crown Point Offering Nursing Conference through NWINRC

CROWN POINT — The 22nd annual Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Conference will be offered by the Northwest Indiana Nursing Research Consortium (NWINRC), of which the University of Saint Francis Crown Point is hosting, on Nov. 7 from 7:45 a.m.-noon at Avalon Manor, 3550 E. U.S. Highway 30, Merrillville, Ind.

The session, entitled “Cornerstones of Care: Research, Evidence Based Practice, and Quality Improvement” will feature keynote speaker Dr. Ronda G. Hughes, PhD, MHS,RN,FAAN, an Associate Professor at Marquette University in Wisconsin. Hughes will address: Nurses at the “Sharp End” of Patient Care.

This program has been submitted for 3.0 nursing contact hours. IU LaPorte Hospital(OH-415, 12/1/2015) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
