MICHIGAN CITY — United Way of LaPorte County and Food Bank of Northern Indiana will be handing out 350 boxes of food to people in need during our Day of Caring, on August 23, 2013. Join us from 8-10 AM at 115 East 4th Street in Michigan City (across from the Michigan City Library).
To ensure you receive your box of food, dial 2-1-1 on your phone and register. Once registered, you will receive a “ticket” for your box of food in the mail or via email. Registering in advance eliminates the need to line up early. Simply present the ticket between 8-10 AM to pick up your box!
