SOUTH BEND – Investment banking firm Keefe, Bruyette & Woods has named 1st Source Bank of South Bend and Horizon Bank of Michigan City to its Honor Roll for superior performance.
The two banks were among 45 banks in the country named to the honor roll for meeting financial performance standards. The honor roll is for publicly traded banks with more than $500 million in assets that have not reported an annual loss the past 10 years; their 2011 annual reported net income per share is equal to or greater than peak net income per share the past 10 years; and have seen consecutive increases in net income per shore since 2009.
