Northwest Health – La Porte welcomed two new members to its board of directors.
The new members are Meredith Mohlke and Steven Kring.
Mohlke is major gifts officer for Purdue University Northwest. She serves in several volunteer and board positions with charities, including the United Way of Northwest Indiana.
Kring is regional president for Horizon Bank’s Northwest Indiana region. Kring is involved in the La Porte community and also serves on the board of directors of the Regional Development Company.

The Northwest Health system includes the La Porte and Knox hospitals as well as Northwest Health – Porter in Valparaiso, Northwest Medical Group, Northwest Health Emergency Medical Services, Northwest Health Occupational Medicine and affiliated outpatient locations in Chesterton, Michigan City, Portage and Valparaiso. Northwest Health has more than 3,000 employees who work with more than 700 physicians.
