Tri Kappa sells decorative Easter eggs

Buy Us A Coffee

CROWN POINT – The Gamma Theta chapter of Crown Point’s Tri Kappa sorority is making decorated chocolate Easter eggs. The sale of the eggs is our chapter’s largest fundraiser, raising over $9,000 for Crown Point area high school scholarship programs.

The sorority will make more than 5,000 Easter eggs on Friday, Feb. 22, from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Crown Point High School kitchen.

Project chairwomen are Vanessa Meschede and Shawn Smead. Following the egg-making weekend, the eggs will be available for purchase in more than 20 retail locations in Crown Point.
