TradeWinds Services announced today that construction at the new location in Hobart is close to completion and the task of moving will begin in mid-October. “We’re beginning with a ‘soft move’,” said Jon Gold, CEO of TradeWinds. “We will move consumer services, classrooms and equipment last in order to minimize disruption to our consumers and their caregivers.”
Administrative and non-programming offices will relocate first and the full move will be completed by late December. The current facility in Gary will remain open through the end of the year, with a possible extension into 2014. “It is important that we have the capacity to continue serving our current consumers and new participants during the transition,” Gold explained.
