SOUTH BEND – Teachers Credit Union announced Sept. 26 that it surpassed 300,000 members.
The credit union is celebrating the milestone throughout October by hosting promotional events for members and through charitable activities by credit union employees.
“TCU’s continued growth reflects the great banking experience that our team provides each day,” said Paul Marsh, president and CEO of Teachers Credit Union. “We continue to add new memberships and have seen steady growth in business deposits, commercial lending and indirect auto lending as well.”
TCU will award prizes to members including 10, $500 TCU gift cards; 10, $500 travel vouchers by Rejuvia Vacation Club, and three $5,000 cash prizes. Primary members age 18 and older will be automatically entered, with members receiving additional entries for registering for e-statements, opening a qualifying checking account or certificate, or applying for a TCU Visa platinum or platinum rewards credit card between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31.
TCU employees also will also volunteer time to assorted community causes on Oct. 8 through the TCU Day of Giving. TCU service centers will be closed for the Columbus Day holiday, allowing TCU’s 700 employees to volunteer time at more than 40 non-profit organizations.
Teachers Credit Union, founded in 1931, has more than $3 billion in assets and 54 branches throughout Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
