Auditions for the Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus‘ 2014-2015 concert season will take place on August 22 and September 9 at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana.
Previous choral experience is recommended. Vocal range, aural abilities, rhythmic comprehension and sight reading will be tested; no prepared vocal selection is required.
The 120-voice volunteer chorus, under the direction of Dr. Nancy Menk, performs regularly with the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra. Weekly rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings, 7:30-10:00 p.m., at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, and will begin in September.
