State Budget Director Jason Dudich will leave his post in May to take over as vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer of the University of Indianapolis.
“Jason is an enthusiastic problem-solver who has served the state with great skill and integrity,” Gov. Eric Holcomb said in a statement. “I wish him continued success in his new role at the University of Indianapolis and thank him for helping us take Indiana to the next level.”
Dudich will continue in the role through the conclusion of the legislative session and depart the administration in mid-May. Holcomb will appoint a replacement but did not establish a timetable.
Holcomb appointed Dudich state budget director in 2017. Dudich developed, presented and managed one balanced budget and has helped manage the fiscal operations of the state ensuring integrity as well as maintaining strong reserves and the state’s AAA credit rating, the governor's office said in a statement.
Dudich said he was grateful for the opportunity to serve as state budget director.
“I am confident that the relationship we’ve built between the budget agency and the state agencies will continue into the future and ensure collaboration to meet the needs of Hoosiers,” he said.
