KNOX – Starke Memorial Hospital has begun offering digital mammography to its patients. The Diagnostic Imaging Department at the hospital said the new equipment and technology allows it to provide incredibly sharp images within seconds.
The equipment includes computer-aided detection technology and allows better detection of any abnormalities.
To schedule an appointment, call (574) 772-1177. While no physician order is required for an exam, the name of a doctor must be provided where results can be sent.
