RENSSELAER – St. Joseph College recently held a high tunnel construction workshop to demonstrate the process of building a passive solar greenhouse that extends the growing season for warm and cool-season crops.
The effort was part of St. Joseph’s recently developed Hoophouse Farming Eduventure, a start-up operation that was created as the result of the school’s receipt of a $25,000 Ball Brothers Foundation Venture Fund grant.
