INDIANAPOLIS – Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan, winner of the 2015 Red Smith Award from the Associated Press Sports Editors, will take part in a conversation at the Hine Hall Auditorium on the Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis campus at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 7.

“The Last Word,” a conversation between Ryan and National Sports Journalism Center director Malcolm Moran, will include a discussion of the previous night’s NCAA men's basketball championship game and Ryan’s recently published book, “Scribe: My Life in Sports.” He will sign copies of the book following the discussion.
