FAIR OAKS — The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority and Fair Oaks Farms will be hosting the South Shore Regional Car Show on Thursday, July 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Fair Oaks Farms. The event, which is sponsored by Schepel Buick GMC Cadillac, is expected to attract hundreds of classic and antique cars for the one-day car show. “Though we had to cancel the South Shore Air Show, plans for the South Shore Regional Car Show remain as scheduled,” said Speros A. Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore CVA.
Spectator admission is a $2 donation or one canned good, with all proceeds benefitting the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. For each $2 donation or one canned good, a raffle ticket will be given. Additional raffle tickets will be given for higher donations or more canned goods: Two raffle tickets for $5 or three canned goods; five raffle tickets for $10 or five canned goods; and ten raffle tickets for $20 or more or ten or more canned goods. Raffle prizes will be awarded every half hour from 4:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m.
