HAMMOND – The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority has received a Gold MarCom Award for its video, “Built by Steel, Changed by Tourism.”
The video showcases the history of the South Shore CVA and the hospitality industry in Northwest Indiana. It was produced by the staff of the South Shore CVA and was filmed at Marquette Park beach in Gary.
More than 5,000 entries for the 2010 MarCom competition were received. MarCom recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communications professionals. It is judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
