SOUTH BEND – The South Bend Symphony Orchestra will open the KeyBank Pops Series with James Dapogny’s Chicago Jazz Band at 8 p.m. (EST) Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Morris Performing Arts Center.
The orchestra, led by Maestro Tsung Yeh, will provide an evening of “All That Jazz.”
Dapogny founded the band in 1976 with the idea of playing jazz repertoire from the previous 50 years. The eight-member band has recorded eight albums.
