SOUTH BEND — South Bend’s Century Center is once again hosting its annual BrewFest event in downtown South Bend. BrewFest will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2017 and will again feature the finest specialty and craft beers from South Bend and the surrounding areas. This is the sixth year Century Center has hosted the beer tasting event and it is expected to sell out as it did in years past.

BrewFest will offer two options for event tickets: general admission, and designated driver tickets, all of which are available online through the Downtown South Bend Inc. online store. Ticket prices are as follows: $49.95 for general admission and $15 for designated driver tickets. General admission and designated driver tickets will be available at the door day of, but it's likely that tickets will be sold out at that time. All guests will receive a Free sampling glass with lanyard and new this year all guests will receive free commemorative pint glass.

Please note this is a 21 and over event, no one under 21 years of age will be admitted into brewfest, this includes designated driver tickets.

BrewFest will open its doors at 12:00PM and event will run until 4:00PM. This fun event will not only have beer sampling but also music, food (to purchase), and a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Center for the Homeless.

BrewFest has once again partnered with South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (Transpo) to offer free rides to event attendees on fixed routes.  Transpo will offer free rides on all regular routes (excluding the 7A Midnight Express) to and from South Bend BrewFest on Saturday, January 21.  To receive a free ride, attendees will be required to show their ticket confirmation email and/or event wristband. BrewFest has continually proven itself to be a wildly popular event as it sold out quickly in advance last year. It provides an opportunity to engage in the craft brew trend as well as an entertaining event to support local businesses in the Michiana and surrounding area.
