SOUTH BEND – Sounds by South Bend Music Festival (happening May 7-9) will host a very special SBSB Pre-Festival Preview Show on May 1, 2015 at The State Theater in conjunction with Downtown South Bend, Inc.’s First Fridays.  This concert features performances by strong female fronted bands including international touring act and harp folk rock band Timbre (Nashville, TN), South Bend’s Moon Rock band Dog & Pony, and regional touring act and soulful songstress Dena Dena Dena backed by a 4 piece band (South Bend, IN).

As part of this May 1st celebration preview concert, South Bend Brew Werks will host a Pre and Post-Concert Party with an unveiling of a “We Love Local Music” playlist featuring original music by Michiana artists.  Concertgoers can show their tickets before or after the concert at South Bend Brew Werks and be entered to win SBBW merchandise and prizes.  “We are truly blessed with awesome local businesses that support this South Bend Music scene.  In addition to the support we’re receiving from South Bend Brew Werks, we’ve partnered with sponsors Grass Roots Media and South Bend Music Exchange, who are helping make the show possible.  We really do live in a very generous community,” says Woods.

The Sounds By South Bend Pre-Festival Preview Show takes place on Friday, May 1, 2015 at The State Theater 214 S.
