The SLYCE03 Class of 2015 inaugural session was held at Avalon Manor was a huge success!! We currently have 57 new students representing 28 different high schools throughout four of the seven counties in Northwest Indiana. We couldn’t be more pleased to have such a wide cross representation of outstanding youth leaders! This recruitment year we gained nine new schools over last year including Charter School of the Dunes, Hebron, LaPorte, Morgan, Morton, Oregon-Davis, Thea Bowman, and West Side!
Now in its third year, SLYCE, a very unique and highly dynamic program, developed to build regional leaders and global thinkers. These young adults have been carefully selected and offered the opportunity to participate in this year long program designed to educate and generate awareness about the issues, challenges and opportunities facing NWI; connect them to key community leaders, and help identify & hone their strengths as leaders.
