Saint Joseph’s College will host its annual Relay For Life event on April 10 beginning at 6 pm CDT and running to approximately 6 am CDT on April 11. This event will take place in the IM field, weather permitting. Otherwise, it will be moved to the Hansen Recreation Center. All are encouraged and welcome to participate, but to be eligible to do so, each person must raise $10 by buying a t-shirt or paying the $10 upon arrival. Anyone who has worked a previous event will not need to pay.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in which more than 4 million people in 5,200 communities and 20 countries participate. The Relay For Life event is designed to raise awareness and much-needed funds, to honor cancer survivors, to remember loved ones taken too soon, and to fight back against this deadly disease.
Registration is not necessary, but to get credit for money raised, visit relayforlife.org.
