The United States Chamber of Commerce has awarded the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce with 5-Star Accreditation—the highest designation—for its sound policies, effective organizational procedures and positive impact on the community. This reaccreditation places the St. Joseph County Chamber among the top 1 percent of chambers nationwide. Of the nearly 7,000 chambers in the U.S., 199 of these are accredited.
“We are honored to again achieve 5-Star Accreditation. We join a select few with this honor. The honor is a real credit to the efforts of our board of directors and staff, and the hundreds of member volunteers who work to help us achieve our mission. We strive to go above and beyond in meeting the needs of our 1,100 member businesses, as well as deliver programs that help grow our local community,” said Jeff Rea, president and CEO of the St. Joseph County Chamber.
