CROWN POINT – Sister Aline Schultz has been named the Athena Leadership Award winner by the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Sister Aline, vice president of marketing and development for Franciscan Alliance, was cited for her work in mentoring women and for the St. Clare Health Clinic, which provides free primary care and other services to needy residents.
She brought the St. Francis School of Nursing to Crown Point, helped set up the Umbilical Cord Blood program and was responsible for the rebranding efforts of Franciscan Alliance from Sisters of St. Francis Health Services.
Sister Aline has been involved with several community organizations and efforts with a key focus on women’s health issues.
