The Signal Debuts at Theatre at the Center

Buy Us A Coffee

Theatre at the Center is bringing back 1965 rhapsody this spring with the thrilling new doo-wop musical, The Signal, on Saturday, April 4 at 4 and 8 p.m. A harmonious blend of classic songs and interactive dance numbers, The Signal recounts the stories of legendary artists who have become influential icons, while recapturing the soundtrack of their lives.

The blended nostalgia of radio, steel mills, gangs, and family, the show spotlights Gary's Vee-Jay Records, the female Black-owned label that landmarked the Blues, pioneered R&B, triggered the Four Seasons, and introduced The Beatles to America. Vee-Jay Records was also the force behind Motown and heavily influenced Gary's own musical ambassadors, The Jacksons.

Performances will be Saturday, April 4 at 4 pm and 8 p.m. Tickets for all performances are $30 for adults and $20 for students. For individual tickets, please call the Box Office at 219-836-3255. For group discounts on groups of 20 or more, please call 219-836-3258. For additional information on Theatre at the Center or to purchase tickets, visit TheatreAtTheCenter.com.
