Shady Creek Winery hosted an event to support Michiana Humane Society in Michigan City, IN. The first Yappy Hour event on Tuesday June 17th at the Winery was organized to raise funds to support the ongoing operations of the Humane Society.
“We believe in giving back to the community where possible and this is another example of doing that,” said Tim Anderson, Owner of Shady Creek Winery. He continued, “We are a family Winery and rescued dogs are a big part of all of our families, so we do what we can to support the Michiana Humane Society. In fact, we introduced our award winning Rescued Dog Red wine 3 years ago with the idea that a portion of the proceeds we will give back in support of the Humane Society. This year we will write them a check for $1,132 to support this worthy organization.”
