SOUTH BEND — St. Joseph County Airport Authority Board President Tom Botkin announced today that South Bend International Airport (SBN) will expand air service with new once-daily United Express service between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and SBN. The service from SBN will begin October 27, 2014, departing at 6:20 a.m. arriving at EWR at 8:23 a.m. The first flight from EWR will operate on October 26, departing at 7:00 p.m. arriving at SBN at 9:13 p.m.

ExpressJet will operate the flights using ERJ-145 regional jet aircraft with 50 United Economy seats. Tickets are on-sale now and available for purchase at www.united.com.
