CHICAGO – The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago has expanded its partnership with Franciscan Alliance to Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point and Franciscan St. Anthony-Michigan City.

The alliance builds on the established relationship with Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Hammond and Dyer that was launched in 2008. Since then, more than 1,950 Northwest Indiana residents have taken advantage of the Rehabilitation Institute’s care for stroke, complex acute brain and spinal cord injury and for chronic pain and sports injuries.

“Our hospital is proud to enter into this affiliation with RIC,” said Dr. James Callaghan, president of Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City. “RIC’s worldwide, outstanding reputation speaks for itself. Franciscan St. Anthony Health, with our impressive quality awards and recognition, will nicely in a partnership with RIC. Our patients will benefit greatly.”
