HIGHLAND — The Region Sports Network is excited to announce the launch of ‘Throwback Nights’, a new series that will spotlight the greatest and most talked about games in Northwest Indiana’s illustrious football history. The first two in the series will be presented live at Catch 22 Sports Bar in Merrillville, Indiana and will be streamed live online at regionsports.com. Players and coaches will be interviewed and game highlights will be shown throughout the night.

“Region football is part of the fabric of Northwest Indiana,” said RSN President and Executive Producer Chris Ramirez. “We’re excited to start by honoring two of the greatest games in history and we look forward to highlighting other great moments in the future.”

The debut of the series is set for Saturday November 1 and will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the battle between Andrean and Griffith for the 2004 sectional 17 championship at a sold out Griffith Boneyard. On the following Saturday, November 8, the classic 1979 regional championship clash of titans between #2 Hobart and #1 Penn will be focused on and celebrated.
