MICHIGAN CITY – John Regetz, executive director of the Michigan City Economic Development Corp., has resigned to become executive director of the Bannock Development Corp. in Pocatello, Idaho.
Regetz has been with the MCEDC since 2006. He said creating county-wide cooperation with other economic development efforts was one of his biggest achievements, along with the Made in LaPorte County program, which show high school students career opportunities in the county by bringing manufacturers together to explain the kinds of products they make.
