WEST LAFAYETTE – Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management will host 28 veterans in its Entrepreneurship Boot Camp for Veterans with Disabilities.

Purdue is one of eight schools around the country using the boot camp to teach veterans how to start their own business. The program focuses on a self-study session; an on-campus residency program; and a 12-month mentorship with faculty.

Among the speakers are William Oesterle, co-founder of Angie’s List; Scott Wise, founder of Scotty’s Brewhouse; Tim Powers, president of School Datebooks; Jason Levin, partner in DLA Piper, a global law firm; Joe Bozich, CEO of Knights Apparel; Roland Parrish, owner of Parrish McDonald’s Restaurant; and Lt. Gen. C.D. Moore II, commander of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
