WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central faculty will be part of a discussion on regional and national economic issues at forums on Wednesday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 10.
The first discussion Nov. 2 will be at the Harre Union at Valparaiso University. Dr. Alan Krabbenhoft, dean of the College Business; Dr. Derek Bjonback, associate professor of economics; and Anthony Sindone, continuing lecturer of economics, will participate in the discussion, which begins at 9:30 a.m.
On Nov. 10, Krabbenhoft and Sindon will be joined by Dr. Daniel Rutlege, associate professor of marketing, for the seminar presented by the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce at Strongbow Inn in Valparaiso.
Program supporters are the Center for Workforce Innovation, Dun & Bradstreet, Duneland Economic Development Co., NIPSCO, Northwest Indiana Forum and the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center.
