HAMMOND – Entrepreneurs planning to participate in The Big Sell Entrepreneurs in Action competition can take part in a coaching session at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
The two-hour coaching session will be at the Purdue University Calumet Center for Entrepreneurship Success at 1247 169th St. Registration is required by calling (219) 9889-3159.
The Big Sell was developed by Purdue Calumet and the Hammond Development Corp. to provide an opportunity for prospective entrepreneurs to make a two-minute pitch of their business idea to audience members and a panel of judges for an opportunity to win cash prizes and services.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 2. Fifty finalists will be invited to make a presentation on Saturday, March 31, at the Star Plaza hotel. More than $30,000 in prizes is available.
